Puerto Cortes, Honduras: Eternal Family Project

In 2004 a young girl listened to her heart, made a commitment to God, and founded Eternal Family Project. Allison Alexander began her vision by helping girls over the age of 18 transition from orphanages to successful living through better education and mentoring in a Jesus-centered home. God has now enlarged this home to include younger girls, from toddlers to teens, as well as special needs and handicapped girls. Eternal Family Project continues to provide education, spiritual guidance and loving care, while equipping young Honduran girls with life skills needed in their journey to become thriving women in mind, body, and spirit.

Teams will be involved in the day-to-day aspects of the ministry – small household repairs, kitchen help, laundry, light construction, and helping with homework.

Monte de Santidad/Honduras: Assist in building a medical clinic

We will assist in the building of a medical clinic that is expected to serve between 5000 and 6000 people a year. Come be a part of this exciting team!

Then the Heart to Heart Children’s Village in rural northwest Honduras is just right for you. You will be surrounded by laughing boys, smiling girls, and toddlers playing on the swings … 78 children and still counting!

For several years Mercy Teams has partnered with this ministry by bringing Work and Service teams to the village home and Medical Teams to the surrounding communities. Our purpose is to offer support and encouragement for the long-term directors who provide a safe home, a wonderful education, and health care for these beautiful children … in a godly, loving environment. What can you do? Painting projects, cabinetry, maintenance work, assisting with cleaning, cooking, laundry, helping with homework — many possibilities. There are hearts needing to be touched, hands needing to be held, and laughter needing to be shared. Join us for a whirlwind time of sharing and serving … and making a difference in a child’s life.
