Dental International Aid Networking Organization announces the 2016 volunteer missions to Haiti and Dominican Republic. Since 2009 we are serving Haitian Refugees and rural areas in the Dominican Republic with Dental care.

Santiago de los Caballeros / Dominican Republic
One week of Dentistry in Rural Dominican communities and Haitian Refugee Camps

Program:
I. week: work in group
II. Optional second week: free schedule
Operation in the group: work in refugee camps, street children and in remote mountain villages, training in the use of mobile treatment units and experienced typical treatment situations in a third world country.

Foreign Languages are always beneficial, but not a prerequisite
Knowledge in restorative dentistry and oral surgery is very helpful,
The camp is open for Students, assistants, dental technicians, teams, reservists, retirees welcome
Simple accommodation
general vaccinations: no special precautions, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, expect a year-round warm climate
Short presentation by e-mail / letter (how long already in practice / year of graduation / experiences, duration of practical work) please describe your expectations and wishes briefly
Two weeks before departure we need a jpg copy of the passport if you want to join the group going to Haiti to prepare border cross.
