FDI Federation Dentaire International » World Dental Development Fund

The FDI World Dental Development Fund (WDDF) was established in 1999 as a program of the World Dental Development and Health Promotion Committee (WDDHPC) which is the present Public Health Committee (PHC)

The aim of the WDDF is to improve oral health globally, primarily through the establishment of innovative prevention and access program in disadvantaged populations. In the last 14 years, the fund has been supporting projects that promote and highlight oral health in different settings. All WDDF projects reflect the core values and principles of the FDI.

The FDI strongly encourages more member National Dental Associations to develop relevant projects and to apply for support through the WDDF in order to bring about more substantial positive impact to oral health globally.
