The CDC is a subcommittee of the College of Oral Health Sciences, the University of Technology, Jamaica and the Association for Oral Health Advancement, focused on raising oral health awareness and providing care to those in need.

CDC is devoted to the promotion and development of oral health care in Jamaica. We, as dental students, are mindful of the importance of empowering Jamaicans to make positive behavioural changes, the impact that oral health has on systemic health, and the significance of young leaders in this country.
Description
Brush Up Jamaica, a project of the CDC and of the Association for Oral Health Advancement founded by UTech Dental Students, aims to improve oral health education, awareness, and access all across Jamaica, especially in primary and special needs schools.

We believe in the importance of educating our young ones and creating a brighter future for our country. We know that oral health is a necessity for general health and prevention is better than cure.
